Royal Oak Offshore Tourbillon Chronograph: Countless In Many Ways

Recognized as a modern icon and certainly not a timepiece to be kept behind glass, this jaw-dropping model is an all-time favorite. We're all aware that Audemars Piguet is notorious for its luxury sports watches, however, the Royal Oak Offshore collection greatly impressed the watch industry since its original release in 1993, but today we are talking about one of our favorite Tourbillons in the market--the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Tourbillon Chronograph ref.26387.

When it comes to this awesome wristwatch, we can go on and on about the specialties and impressive techniques. It is assertive, complex, architectural and physically stunning (which we can all agree on). Limited to only U.S boutiques and without a doubt, a holy grail for many watch collectors, it is designed with a charming Titanium case in which collectors sport with pride. It represents a strong statement of individuality with its open-worked dial and combination of black, gold and silver accents. Designed with a 44mm case and 16.60 mm in thickness, this timepiece is mesmerizing with its wrist presence and pushes one to add to his collection. A vigorous creation, it features an integrated column wheel 30-minute chronograph, sapphire crystal, and anti-reflective coated display caseback. A sleek white ceramic bezel surrounds the dial with a white ceramic screw-down crown and pushers accompanied by carved out plots and a perfectly finished case with neatly symmetrical edges. The open-worked dial on this watch features a 30-minute chrono-register in grey at 3 o'clock, a tourbillon at 9 o'clock and two openings at 12 and 6 o'clock. Inlaid in the luminous white dial, are white gold hands contrasted against white gold Arabic numerals with green luminescent coating. Embodying a vintage look with a modern feel, we are completely in awe by the architecture and it only gets better when it comes to the movement.

The beating heart inside of this iconic reference is powered by the new calibre 2933 is a new manual wound movement composed of 388 parts, 30 jewels and equipped with a power reserve of 237 hours (almost ten full days). This impressive calibre is fully visible due to the transparent caseback and is a real treat on the eyes. This beauty is housed on a white rubber strap with titanium folding-buckle which is completely comfortable and perfectly finished. You've been warned---once this beautiful wristwatch touches your arm, we promise you'll instantly fall in love. A timepiece with this advanced calibre doesn't come cheap at all, but did we expect anything less from such a luxury and well respected brand? Of course NOT! NO matter what, it is well worth every penny and will make you feel just as good as you look.
