About The Watches In The Rolex GMT Master II Watch Collection
To date, only superlative words can be used to describe Rolex watches. For decades, Rolex has remained the premier chronometer brand and it’s world-renowned for its superior quality that can be attributed to the fact that all watches are handmade, innovative designs and luxurious watch finishes. With Rolex’s Master II watch collection, Rolex set the bar a notch higher when it comes to luxury chronometer designs and here is why…

Do you constantly have to travel across different zones? Ever wished you could instantly tell the time simultaneously across three different time zones? This is exactly what you get with any watch in the GMT-Master II collection by Rolex.

In addition to the normal hands that indicate the time to the hour, minute, and second your current location, watches in the series have an additional independent hand that displays your set time of reference. Additionally, the watches also have a bi-directional rotatable bezel that displays the current time in a different time zone once you cross over from your current zone. The current time in an alternate time zone is usually displayed on either side of a 2-colour Cerachrom which is graduated in the 24-hour system. The best part is that you can recalibrate the normal hour hand to change time across different time zones without affecting the calibrations in the minute, second, and, independent hand.

Watches in the series are run on caliber 3285 perpetual motion rotor system which powers the watch by harnessing energy from the movements of your wrist. Series watches are capable of harnessing a power reserve of up to 70 hours which means that your watch can continue function for this duration of time when you are not wearing it. As long as you are wearing your Rolex Master II series watch, it will continue to function perpetually.

If you dabble in underwater sports or hobbies, a Rolex Master II watch is a perfect addition to your collection. Series watches are made of corrosive and scratch-resistant materials and are waterproof to a depth of up to 330 feet (100 m).

For assurance that you are getting a distinctly and uniquely designed watch, Rolex rigorously tests all series watches to ascertain that they are operating optimally when it comes to waterproofness, reserving power, perpetual motion, and, accurate precision in recording current time.
