This Horological Machine No.5 is crafted from CarbonMacrolon, a fancy polycarbonate material created by mixing a black Makrolon polycarbonate with carbon nanotubes. The result is an extremely dense and durable polycarbonate which is as strong as steel, and can be polished like steel. The lever along the side of the case opens and closes the louvres, allowing light - and water - to enter and illuminate the jumping hour and minute discs.
