Sell Your Richard Mille RM 11 Watch

The RM 11 is the most produced and most recognizable chronograph reference family in Richard Mille's catalog, and one of the watches that defined the brand's identity through the 2010s. The series launched in 2007 with the RM 011 Felipe Massa Automatic Flyback Chronograph, developed in partnership with the Brazilian Formula 1 driver, and went on to run across dozens of editions, materials, and athlete or brand variants. The RM 011 was followed by the RM 11-01 Roberto Mancini, the RM 11-02 GMT Flyback, the RM 11-03 with its refined chronograph architecture, the RM 11-04 Mancini in Carbon TPT, and the RM 11-05 GMT in Cermet. Together these references represent the longest-running chronograph platform Richard Mille has produced. Selling one is a different conversation than selling a more conventional Richard Mille, and Wrist Aficionado is built for exactly that nuance. Send us a few details and clear photos and our specialists handle the rest. Whether you own a Felipe Massa RM 011 in titanium, rose gold, ceramic, or carbon, an RM 11-01 or RM 11-04 Mancini, an RM 11-02 GMT, an RM 11-03 in any material configuration, or the RM 11-05 GMT Cermet, your watch ends up in the right hands.

Why Sellers Choose Wrist Aficionado for Their RM 11

Selling an RM 11 is rarely a routine transaction. The series spans more than a decade of production across multiple reference generations with distinct movements, individual editions trade very differently, and condition factors specific to flyback chronograph operation and the RM 11 case architecture all carry weight. Sellers tend to come our way for a few specific reasons:

  • Buyer Reach Where the RM 11 Actually Trades: Active clients across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, the regions where this series is most pursued, give your watch immediate, qualified visibility.
  • Reference-Level Knowledge Across the RM 11 Catalog: Our team works with the full RM 11 lineup, from earlier RM 011 Felipe Massa production in titanium, rose gold, white gold, ceramic, and carbon through the various Felipe Massa limited editions (Boutique Edition, Red Kite, Black Phantom, Sandblast, LeMans Classic, White Ghost, Polo de Deauville, Asia Brown Ceramic), the Romain Grosjean Lotus F1, the RM 11-01 and RM 11-04 Mancini, the RM 11-02 GMT in carbon and rose gold, the RM 11-03 across all material variants including the Last Black/White Edition ceramic, the Jean Todt, the Ultimate Edition, and the McLaren Orange, and the RM 11-05 GMT in Cermet.
  • Movement-Aware Authentication: RM 11 chronograph calibers evolved across the generations from the original RM 011 architecture through the refined RM 11-03 movement. Our specialists understand how each generation should run, how the flyback function should behave, and how service history affects valuation.
  • Material and Strap Inspection: Carbon TPT, Quartz TPT, ceramic, titanium, rose gold, and white gold cases each have their own authentic visual signature. Strap and pusher integrity factor in alongside case and caliber condition. We know what's correct and what crosses into compromised condition.
  • Fully Insured Logistics: Every transaction is protected by fully insured shipping, secure handling, and complete documentation. Non-negotiable for pieces of this caliber.
  • Honest, Direct Communication: No surprise deductions, no fine print buried in the offer, no pressure tactics. Just clear, straightforward conversation throughout.
  • Multiple Paths to Sell: Choose between an outright purchase or consignment through our global network, whichever better fits the result you want.
  • Hands-On Inspection by RM Specialists: Each RM 11 is personally evaluated by our team, with attention to case condition, chronograph function, flyback operation, strap and clasp integrity, edition-specific markings, edition numbering on limited variants, and matching documentation.

About the Richard Mille RM 11

The RM 11 series launched in 2007 with the RM 011 Felipe Massa Automatic Flyback Chronograph, developed in partnership with the Brazilian Formula 1 driver who had become one of Richard Mille's most visible athlete ambassadors. The original RM 011 introduced the tonneau-case flyback chronograph platform that would define the series for the next decade, with a 50mm by 42.7mm case in titanium and a movement built around an automatic-winding base caliber with a flyback chronograph module. The RM 011 ran across an unusually wide range of editions and materials, including the Felipe Massa Boutique Edition, Red Kite, Black Phantom, Sandblast, LeMans Classic, White Ghost, Polo de Deauville, Asia Brown Ceramic, Yellow Flash, Black Night, Midnight Fire, and the standout Romain Grosjean Lotus F1 collaborations. The 10th Anniversary Felipe Massa in Carbon TPT Titanium marked the close of the original RM 011 era.

The RM 11-01 introduced the Roberto Mancini collaboration in Titanium and Rose Gold, named for the Italian football coach. The RM 11-02 brought a GMT complication to the platform in Carbon, Titanium, and Rose Gold variants, including the Shanghai Limited Edition of 30. The RM 11-04 added a Mancini-tied Carbon TPT variant.

The RM 11-03 launched in 2015 as the next major evolution of the series, refining the flyback chronograph movement and updating the case architecture. The RM 11-03 ran across Titanium, Rose Gold, White Gold, and Carbon configurations, plus standout limited editions including the Jean Todt Blue and White Quartz TPT, the McLaren Orange Quartz TPT, the Ultimate Edition Carbon Turquoise Quartz TPT, the Diamond Set Rose Gold, and the Last White Edition and Last Black Edition Ceramic limited editions that marked the close of the RM 11-03 production cycle. The RM 11-05 added a GMT Flyback Chronograph in Cermet, a new material introduction for the brand.

What makes the RM 11 series distinctive on the secondary market is the combination of its long production run, the breadth of materials and athlete or brand editions, and the cultural weight of the Felipe Massa Formula 1 era that the series defined. Individual variants and limited editions trade very differently from one another, and the variant and condition you own determine almost everything about how the watch sells.

Frequently Asked Questions

The RM 011, RM 11-01, RM 11-02, RM 11-03, RM 11-04, and RM 11-05 each represent different generations or variants. How do collectors view the relative importance of each?

Each reference has its own collector base. The RM 011 carries the longest production history and the Felipe Massa cultural lineage that defined the series, and remains one of the most actively collected RM chronograph references. The RM 11-01 and RM 11-04 Mancini editions appeal to football-collaboration and Italian sport-watch collectors specifically. The RM 11-02 GMT brings the dual-time function to the series and trades on its own terms. The RM 11-03 is the most technically refined generation and the most produced over the past decade, with strong demand across all material configurations. The RM 11-05 GMT Cermet is the most recent addition and represents Richard Mille's introduction of Cermet to the flyback chronograph line. For sellers, the specific reference and edition drives the offer more than generation alone.
