Let's Talk About The Royal Oak Chronograph

When it comes to The Royal Oak Collection, it's hard to truly choose a favorite! Seriously--an iconic sports watch collection specified and carefully designed to not only look great, but function even better? You can see why it may be a challenging task. After careful consideration, we must highlight the beauty of Royal Oak Chronograph. It is undoubtedly one of the most unique chronograph designs with the classic Royal Oak case, giving it character and unforgettable technique.

In celebration of its 20 year anniversary,  this newer model has a very subtle difference in appearance compared to its original model which was released in 1977. The two chronograph sub-dials, hours and minutes, are much larger for better legibility. It features a stainless steel integrated bracelet with a very slim 41mm diameter.  In the centers inlays a Blue dial with luminous silver-tone hands and Arabic numeral hour markers. The pushers and crown are wrapped with a rubber-like material called 'Therban'. What in the world is 'Therban' you ask?  It is a high performance elastomer that is fireproof to very high temperatures. Showcasing modern charm, the self-winding Calibre 2385 movement remains unchanged. Its functions includes a chronograph, tachymeter, date, small seconds and antimagnetic. On the wrist this watch is a dream. It is housed on a stainless steel bracelet with a deployant clasp. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph can be considered as one of the most successful watch designs of the 20th century and continues to be on the top of watch collectors most valued timepieces.
