The Tank Americaine sticks to the bare essentials of what made the Cartier Tank so important. Crafted in an 18k yellow gold case, a simple white dial commands the center of this piece, with the Roman numerals following the curve of the case and a centralized railroad track. The blue sword hands appear for the hour and minutes, with the dial being signed with 'Cartier'. The gold exteriors of the case are, yet again, textbook Cartier with the curvation case flanks harking back to the Cintrée design as well as the synthetic spinel cabochon crown at three.
